We have been staying in Viens on holiday and walked to Casseneuve then onto St Martin De Bastillon when we spotted this very pleasant bar. We stopped and had a drink before walking back to Viens, but noticed the beautiful looking steaks being brought out for other people there so decided we had to go back, hence today we did, both having the steak and were most impressed. Excellent service, good house wine and lots of locals, the sign of good place to stop for food. Not expensive and not posh, but "parfait pour Provence"

Very nice little village bistro. The welcome is simple and warm. The cuisine too, the menu is rather small but there is something for everyone and the dishes are simply good.... quite simply.

Ate lunch here in this fantastically cozy village. We arrived a little late for lunch but no problem, they fixed it right away! We ate carpaccio with tomato and parmesan and with it the best homemade fries I've ever eaten!

A place of encounter and joy of life. The food is at an unexpectedly creative high level for a “bar” - our respect for that!You can't get such a delicious wood-fired pizza everywhere, even in Italy... We were also surprised by a "Plat du jour" with delicious lamb and a great vegetarian alternative.This is French "savoir vivre" in a young, fresh way.That's how it should be - we can only recommend the bar and will definitely come back here several times on our next vacation.Tom&Rita June 2023
